Tell us about SimpliPhi Power.

SimpliPhi Power designs and manufactures efficient, non-toxic and enduring energy storage and management systems that utilize non-toxic lithium ferro phosphate (LFP). Based in Ojai, California, SimpliPhi combines the non-hazardous LFP energy storage chemistry with its proprietary cell and battery architecture, power electronics, Battery Management System (BMS) and assembly methods to create safe, reliable, durable and highly scalable on-demand power solutions for the residential, commercial, military, emergency response and film industries. Integral to all SimpliPhi Power solutions is a proprietary management system that further optimizes the life-cycle, performance and durability of its batteries. SimpliPhi Power storage system components are UL certified and have been rigorously tested and passed requirements by the U.S. Army and Marine Corps.

Your company will be exhibiting at Intersolar & EES, what is it that makes this an important event for your company?

As an industry event that continues to attract a broad cross section of attendees -- from the longest standing solar and storage veterans to innovators working on technology that will push the industry forward -- we look at Intersolar as an important opportunity to connect and collaborate with both customers and strategic partners. We're eager to share our latest solutions with our customers, and visit with the best software, inverter and other manufacturers that are offering equipment advances that we can leverage to deliver ever-more-innovative storage solutions.

What can a visitor to your booth expect to see this year?

SimpliPhi's full product line will be on display, including our PHI batteries -- now with larger capacity and lower price points, our mobile Genny product line that is in high demand for disaster relief and other emergency and mobile applications, and our plug-and-play AccESS energy storage system featuring new equipment partners.

When you get a chance to walk the exhibit hall floor yourself, what is it you will be most interested to see?

Because our energy storage solutions are open source, when we walk the floor, we're eager to meet manufacturers of software, inverters and other technology that we can integrate into the next generation of SimpliPhi products. That said, we're equally interested in seeing what the competition is up to as a means to inspire us to continue to innovate and improve.

When you book a booth for a tradeshow like this what are your expectations and what does your company hope to accomplish at the event?

Our goals include: connecting with customers and partners, collecting market feedback and offering real-time energy storage technical support and project design expertise.
