Joining forces to reduce offshore downtime
Natural Power, Fred. Olsen Windcarrier and SubC Partner have joined forces to launch www.Offshorewindspect.com - a new force in offshore wind turbine inspections which brings together a market-leading cooperative that is dedicated to reducing downtime.
Officially launching next week at Offshore Wind Energy 2017 in London, the new service will be offering clients a simple contracting model where they can pick and choose from a list of inspection services under one contract. This will offer lower costs and reduced contract complexity, saving time and lowering operational risk for clients.
Together the cooperative will deliver:
• Full inspection scope
• Less downtime
• Reduced operational and contractual complexity and risk
• Analysis and reporting
• Fixed pricing
Pieter dHaen, International Director at Natural Power, said: "By coordinating the service areas of each of our organisations under one agreement, Offshorewindspect.com has the distinct advantage of being able to pass on the benefits of an agile, responsive and efficient service directly to its clients.
"On-going inspection work is vital when it comes to maintaining, repairing and maximising output from offshore assets but often requires some of the fleet to be out of operation until work is complete. By combining our service offerings we can ensure downtime is minimised by coordinating inspections through one contractual interface, reducing inspection duration, and ensuring efficient and safe operations through close communication between vessel and inspection crew, thus also driving cost efficiencies."
To find out how this new cooperative can benefit your offshore inspections programmes, visit the team at Offshore Wind Energy 2017 from Tuesday 6th June to Thursday 8th June. Natural Power will be exhibiting at stand N-L10 and Fred. Olsen Windcarrier / SubC Partner stand N-F40.
