Be sure to visit the Salt Palace Convention Center, Salt Lake City, UT September 23-26, 2019 for the best of solar energy information from 700 exhibitors and 20,000 industry professionals.

Solar Power International, Energy Storage International, and North America Smart Energy Week is powered by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA). SPI held its initial show in 2004 and was intended to advance the solar energy industry by bringing together people, products, and professional development opportunities. The show has progressed to become the largest assembly of solar, smart energy, energy storage, and hydrogen fuel cell professionals in North America. As the anchor of North America Smart Energy Week, the event has expanded to include Energy Storage International, which is the largest storage event in North America, the Smart Energy Microgrid Marketplace, Hydrogen+Fuel Cells International, and The Technical Symposium.

The Salt Palace is one of only a few convention centers in the nation that generates Solar Renewable Energy Credits. The Salt Palace generates about 17% of its power through 6,006 solar panels. Several exhibitors will utilize the live microgrid in the Smart Energy Marketplace + Microgrid to generate power for their booths. The marketplace will include the entire solar, energy storage, hydrogen fuel cells, distributed wind, and smart energy microgrid landscape. The marketplace features a fully-functioning “live” microgrid, power conversion equipment, energy management systems, building and home smart energy products, electric vehicle charging stations, energy storage systems, and solar energy products—ultimately making the connection between solar, energy storage, hydrogen fuel cells, distributed wind, and smart energy.

The Technical Symposium is the event for the technical and scientific communities to present and share innovative research. No other platform offers such an occasion for collaboration and access to the industry. The Technical Symposium features two days of scientific content with keynote presentations from industry leaders. Being a part of The Technical Symposium combines the best scientific and technical content with business opportunities.

Energy Storage International, co-located with Solar Power International, paves the way for greater integration between the energy storage and solar markets. As the largest energy storage event in North America, ESI features over 165 exhibitors and 7,000 attendees interested in energy storage technology, and three full days of education investigating policy advances, market forecasts, new technology and applications as well as relevant content designed to grow the storage market.

The show will present 29 workshops covering such topics as Multimode Energy Storage System Design, Microgrid Workshop, Fundamentals and Best Practices for EV Charging Infrastructure Rollouts, Inspecting PV Systems, Battery Storage for Co-ops and Munis, How to Avoid Legal Troubles When Developing and Financing Solar Energy Project, An In-depth Review of the Revised IEEE 1547 Standard, and more.

Here are a few of the exhibitors:
