Mounted on a 1-gang wall plate for installation into a standard outlet
box, this Motor Speed Control snaps into new and retrofit applications
in about 10 minutes using only common hand tools to directly replace a
toggle switch. Rotate knob full CCW to click-off position for zero
current when inactive, or CW for varying intensities of smooth delivered
power. Motor noise and energy consumption are correspondingly reduced
adding new function and versatility to fans, heaters, and pumps -
virtually any constant-load appliance
Efficiency of this Motor Speed Control is an incredible 97 percent at
most settings. A ruggedized, high-quality construction stands up to
heavy and even continuous use in environments including Solar Home, RV,
and Marine. A premium-quality machined aluminum knob adds distinction
and durability to the installation. The standard switch plate is
ivory/metal, although ivory, white, dark brown/plastic are available at
the same price.
